Thank you to all the participants to WarsawWildlife photography competition for their interest in urban wildlife!
What an unexpected encounter with a female common merganser and its chicks while walking in Czerniakowską street! Such a picture could not have illustrated better the topic of WarsawWildlife photography competition! Congratulations to Urszula Frydrych who obtains the first position of the contest for this picture. The second position is hold by Hanna Żelichowska for her picture of the common redpolls, while the third position is attributed to Michal Adamowicz for his picture of the tawny owl. Both species are not easy to spot in the city; hats off to both of them!
That’s not all! Twenty pictures have been selected to be exhibited! The ranking of those selected pictures is detailed below:
